NFL star Patrick Mahomes is among the best quarterbacks in the league presently. Ever since he began his career in 2017, he has been nothing less than impressive. The quarterback keeps grabbing the limelight every now and then with his professional and personal lives. Last year, he was in the news for the wrong reasons.

 In February last year, the Kansas City Chiefs star attended the Texas Tech-Baylor basketball match. His wife Brittany Mahomes also accompanied Mahomes to the match in Lubbock. During the game, the camera captured an incident that soon went viral. In the video, Patrick Mahomes said something to his wife and then turned toward the stadium. After that, Brittany was seen saying something to her friend sitting beside her. 

According to fans, Brittany said, “Patrick just told me no more resting b*tch face”. After that, she made a funny face, and Patrick was nodding on the other side. Right after the video surfaced on social media, fans came up with different reactions. Some fans felt that Brittany overreacted at that time. Others, on the other hand, seemed angry at Patrick Mahomes for misbehaving with his wife in public. After some time, the star quarterback posted a tweet on X, expressing his love for Brittany. “Man people are weird… love you babe @brittanylynne8,” he wrote.

 This incident involving Patrick Mahomes and Brittany surely made headlines. Though it’s worth noting that the couple is still together and going stronger every day. According to reports, it was the quarterback who made the first move on Valentine’s Day. He reportedly bought a rose and a Valentine’s Day card for Brittany. She revealed in an interview that later on she realized that she also liked him, and they began dating. 

“I was like, ‘Okay this guy is actually kind of cute. Maybe I do like him.’ So then we just started talking and then started dating,” she said. Patrick Mahomes and Brittany began dating in 2012, and have two children, a son and a daughter. One year after their daughter Sterling was born, the loving couple tied the knot last year. Even after facing some controversies, the duo is still together. For now, as Mahomes prepares for the NFL 2023, Brittany is ready to cheer for him.
